Welcome Back to the Blog!

I’m beyond excited to be relaunching my blog—this time, with a real plan and purpose!

For years, I toyed with the idea of securing my domain, diving into blogging, and truly showing up for my bookish community. But something always held me back. Imposter syndrome—that ever-persistent voice whispering, Who are you to do this? It made me second-guess my book reviews, my social media presence, and even my ability to launch my editorial business.

But guess what? I finally did it! I took the leap, and it’s been an incredible, exhilarating ride.

Stepping Into My Editorial Era

At the start of this year, I completed my first official manuscript review. Not only did it affirm that I can do this, but it also showed me that I’m good at it. And the cherry on top? My client (who didn’t know they were my first) told me I knocked it out of the park! Since then, each new project has fueled my passion and confidence.

Now, I’m officially offering manuscript critiques, editorial assessments, and PR services for authors who want polished, compelling books that resonate with readers. My booking calendar is open, and I’m currently scheduling projects through the summer! If you're an author looking for editorial support, you can check out my services and fill out my interest form: https://bit.ly/pintoprosepublicity-interest.

What You Can Expect From the Blog

Balancing this journey with a full-time job and two very energetic young boys isn’t easy, and I won’t promise to be perfectly consistent with blog posts. But here’s what I will promise: I won’t let self-doubt keep me from showing up.

Here’s what’s on deck:
📚 Weekly book reviews – Deep dives into my latest reads
👩‍💻 Monthly author Q&As – Exclusive interviews with authors
📖 Monthly wrap-ups – A look at what I read and what’s coming up
🌿 Seasonal book content – TBRs, recommendations, and fun bookish lists

One thing I never do? Miss a client deadline. Anyone who works with me knows I take commitments seriously and always set realistic expectations. That same dedication applies to this blog—I may not post every day, but when I do, I want it to be worth your time. I’m always open to feedback—so if there’s something specific you’d love to see, let me know!

✍️ 8 ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies)

📚 27 Books Read in the 1st Quarter of 2025

Do we have any books in common? Have you read any of these, or are they on your TBR? Let’s chat in the comments!

Coming Up Next…

📖 Tomorrow: My review of The Veiled Kingdom series by Holly Renee! I’ve been raving about this series since I read the first book last year, and with the final installment dropping on March 18, I can’t wait to share my thoughts.

Coming Soon:

✍️ On April 10, I'll be sharing something special – stay tuned!
📚 On April 15, get ready for my review of Fowl Play!
🎤 On April 17, check out my email Q&A with author Cassandra Medcalf! I had the pleasure of meeting her at RomantiCONN, and now she’s sharing insights on her latest work.

Let’s get lost in the pages together!

HEY, I’M CYNTHIA…

Welcome to my personal book haven! I’m all about diving into stories and chatting with fellow bookworms.

I read pretty much anything and everything in the fiction world, except for horror (it’s just a little too spooky for me!). But give me a twisted psychological thriller, and I’m in.

I also love reading ARCs (advance reader copies), so you’ll often find my reviews up before or right on the book's publication day.

Happy reading, and let’s get lost in stories together!
